CHALLENGE
MakerBot was going through a globalization. Which meant that it needed its online platform to cater to markets such as China and Germany. Visual Design had to be clean and spacious to allow flexibility in typefaces and copy lengths, this all abiding to Magento’s limitations.
SOLUTION
I led the design efforts in creating stylized templates that were to be used by different departments to be filled out through the Magento CMS platform. There are clear instructions and visual guidelines to make sure the different modules serve specific purposes and different types of content.
